Miranda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. She and has an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from North Greenville University. She has been trained in Christian Counseling and holds a South Carolina School Counseling Teaching Certification. Therapeutic strategies that she uses in her practice include, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Client-Centered, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy.
Miranda has experience working within a group home setting, inpatient facilities, churches, school systems, and community mental health centers. Her areas of interest focus on relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life adjustments, marital problems, family concerns, and other life stressors. Her passion is working with couples, as well as helping clients individually reach their goals and find freedom from emotional pain and distress. Miranda values the relationship between the client and therapist and works hard to build rapport to help build trust. She likes to empower clients, so they can have emotionally healthier lifestyles, better relationships with others, and more positive family environments.
She provides comprehensive psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups to facilitate and support healthy relationships, lifestyles, and interpersonal growth for her clients.
