Ari is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of South Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver. Ari uses a collaborative, interpersonal approach to explore how one’s past experiences have shaped the way they interact with the world in the present, and to then identify pathways to a more fulfilling future.
Ari has extensive experience with adolescents, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings such as residential, in-home, and outpatient services. He also has specific training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). His specialties include anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustment, substance use, and trauma.
