Rob is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. Rob is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Rob has experience working with children, adolescents, families, and groups. He also has experience addressing issues of grief, anger, depression, anxiety, school difficulties, family issues, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and behavioral concerns. Rob is skilled in adapting best practice modalities to address the uniqueness of each individual or family need.
Rob has an undergraduate degree in English from University of South Carolina (Spartanburg) and a Masters/Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina and Virginia. Rob has been working in the counseling field since 1999 where he began at Eckerd Youth Alternative, a year long wilderness camp for at risk adolescents. Rob has experience in clinical, school, in-home services, and private settings.
Heather Younts, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor that has extensive experience working with pre-teens, adolescents, families and young adults. She often uses a cognitive-behavioral approach, but incorporates other treatment modalities to best suit each client's individual needs. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) that is designed to help ages 6-18 who have experienced traumatic and upsetting life events.
Her areas of special focus include helping those struggling with Attention-Deficit Disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other issues related to phase of life, adjustment, relational, academic, and other stressful life events. Ms. Younts is bilingual and also works with Spanish speaking individuals and families. She is committed to coming alongside her clients to help them through difficult times of transition and crisis.
Ms. Younts holds a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Erskine College and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Columbia International University.
Faye Slater is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Grief Counselor. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University and a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Counseling from the Citadel College of Professional and Graduate Studies. She is certified in Grief Education and Counseling through the Association for Death Education and Counseling.

Renee is a licensed professional counselor and supervisor who specializes in the treatment of adolescents, children and families, helping her clients deal with depression, grief, loss, anger, anxiety, divorce and school-related issues by utilizing play therapy and cognitive-behavioral interventions. Ms. Potter developed and implemented a countywide school based mental health counseling program for multiple school districts in Anderson County.
She directs and provides crisis response/ intervention and utilizes psychological first aid and triage training for crisis teams, school administrators and officials. She facilitates groups for children and adolescents on a variety of issues such as social skills, anger management, self-esteem, stress reduction and grief and loss. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Relational Therapy (CPRT), and Cultural Awareness. Natasha also is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Natasha has been working in the mental health field since 2008 in both the public and private sectors and is passionate about helping others.
Natasha has worked extensively with families, with her focus being on enhancing relationships and family bonds. She provides services to families who are struggling with children’s behavior problems, depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, and the effects of trauma. Natasha is bilingual and offers counseling services in either English or Spanish. She can provide individual, family, marital, or group counseling to help address her client and/or family’s needs.

Cynthia Marks is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist in private practice since 1996, who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and has practiced in public and private sectors, including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, child behavior problems, ADHD, parenting, and relationship issues.
She has special expertise in child and family therapy, and is experienced in family systems therapy, play therapy, and cognitive-behavioral treatment of childhood behavior problems, depression, and anxiety, including OCD. Dr. Marks received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She also holds an MA degree in Counseling Pyschology, with a specialty in Counseling Children, from Boston College. She received her residency training at the Medical College of Georgia.
Erin Kornahrens is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of South Carolina. She obtained her BA in Psychology from Winthrop University and her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Columbia International University. She is a certified trauma therapist and has been trained in Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ms. Kornahrens uses a cognitive behavioral approach in her sessions, but also makes use of dialectic behavioral therapy, grief education and techniques, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and other approaches as needed and appropriate. She is skilled in assessing and adapting best treatment modalities for each individual client and his/her needs.
Ms. Kornahrens has extensive experience treating children 10 and up, adolescents, college students, young adults, couples, and families. Her areas of interest and focus are trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, phase of life concerns, life adjustments, relational problems, marital problems, family concerns, and other life stressors.
Ms. Kornahrens has worked within group home settings, Greenville County school system, Clemson University, and private practice as a therapist. She is committed to building trusting relationships with clients and creating a safe place in which clients can learn effective coping skills to deal with negative experiences and symptoms that life can often provide.
Amanda is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience with behavior problems, adjustment issues, adoptions, school difficulties, family communication problems, and parenting concerns. Ms. Hood has also treated children, adolescents, and families dealing with abuse, neglect, and trauma. She is equally comfortable with individual, family, and group treatment. Ms. Hood emphasizes personal strengths in her approach to addressing client concerns. Ms. Hood utilizes a general cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation, but also adopts other treatment modalities as appropriate.
Ms. Hood has served as a liaison working with families involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Department of Social Services, Family Court, and school systems. Ms. Hood has worked for the National Health Service Corps, a federal program designed to provide treatment to teenagers and their families living in areas where there is a critical need for mental health providers. She has also worked in public mental health settings, providing therapy to children and adolescents and coordinating services with schools and other agencies. Ms. Hood holds a BA degree in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University and an MSW from the University of South Carolina.
Rhett is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has a B.S. in Pyschology and a Master of social work degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been in a clinical practice in the public and private sectors since 1979.
Mr. Davidson's general orientation is a cognitive-behavioral approach, and he utilizes other techniques as appropriate. Mr. Davidson is most experienced with health and developmental issues, work-related issues, marital and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and stress related issues. He also focuses on family, parenting, and life satisfaction issues. He is experienced with individuals, couples, and families as well as groups. Mr. Davidson works with adults, and a large part of his practice is focused on working with men.
